Overview:

HCC is a progressive and professional partner to Saskatchewan mining. We have been committed to
safe and successful execution of underground contracts within the potash industry for twenty years. We
value diversity and respect in the workplace. We are currently sourcing Underground Miners to work at
various potash project locations across Saskatchewan, with imminent openings at the
Rocanville/Scissors Creek mine site.

Underground Miner III:

We are looking for people who ideally have underground experience in the potash industry and have
demonstrated competency and attention to safety in:
• The operation of scoop trams, continuous miners and other cutting equipment, bolting
machines and equipment, and various auxiliary equipment such as telehandlers and skid steers
• The installation of conveyance systems and other underground infrastructure
• The construction of underground storage bins and other structural projects
• Shotcreting, backfilling and installing concrete foundation
• Shaft construction and remediation

At a minimum, individuals will possess the following:

• Two years’ total experience in mining, exploration drilling, and/or construction
• The ability to operate construction equipment, such as wheel loaders, dozers, excavators, and
telehandlers
• Experience in at least one related area of industrial construction
• The ability to work away from home on a work rotation defined by the project, with a reliable
method of transportation to and from the project site
• The ability to work dayshift or nightshift as directed
• A commitment to working safely and communicating effectively in a team environment
• A positive attitude and excellent work ethic

In addition to the experience noted above, an ideal candidate will possess:

• Current certification in Saskatchewan General Mine Safety Awareness and WHMIS 2015
• Current certification in Fall Protection and Aerial Work Platforms
• Previous training and certification for operation of specific equipment
• A valid Class 5 driver’s license
Candidates should be physically fit and, as part of our screening process, will be asked to perform a drug
